Even today in South Dakota, a cowboy emerges from behind a jagged rock, lingering in ambush, waiting for the crafty buffalo to appear. Although not wild- they are raised on vast ranches- the gallant, defiant bison need to be hunted with the same vigor cowboys showed a century* ago. The Crafty Captive.
Vigo was a crafty and defiant prisoner who always looked for a chance to escape. He had been captured by a band of ruthless cannibals who planned to devour him at their next feast. He knew he had to act fast, or he would perish in their jaws. One night, he managed to emerge from his cage and sneak past the sleeping guards. He ran towards the forest, hoping to find a way out. But as he reached the edge of the clearing, he felt a sharp pain in his leg. He looked down and saw a jagged trap that had pierced his flesh. He tried to free himself, but it was too late. The cannibals had set up an ambush for him. They surrounded him with their spears and knives, laughing at his fragile state. He realized he had been too crafty for his own good, and that his defiance had sealed his fate. He could only linger in agony as they dragged him back to their camp, where he would soon become their meal.
